Apple and Cinnamon Baked Oats 

Ingredients

  • 40g (½ cup) (1½ oz) oats

  • 125ml (½ cup) (4½ fl oz) semi-skimmed milk (or preferred choice)

  • ½ tbsp (0.5 Aus tbsp – 7.5ml) maple syrup

  • ½ tsp vanilla essence

  • ½ tsp baking powder (baking soda)

  • ½ apple, peeled and diced

  • 1 tbsp (0.75 Aus tbsp – 15ml) raisins

  • ¼ tsp cinnamon

  • 125g (⅓ cup) (4½ oz) full-fat Greek yoghurt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C / 167°F / Gas Mark 4.

  2. Blend the oats, milk, maple syrup, vanilla essence and baking powder (baking soda) in a food processor or blender until smooth.

  3. Stir the apple, raisins and cinnamon through the batter.

  4. Transfer into a ramekin.

  5. Place into the oven for 20 minutes until cooked through and puffed up.

  6. Serve with Greek yoghurt.
