Warm Porridge

Ingredients

  • 6 raspberries

  • 1 tsp honey

  • 40g (½ cup) (1½ oz) oat flakes

  • 160ml (¾ cup) (5⅔ fl oz) semi-skimmed milk

  • 1 tbsp (0.75 Aus tbsp – 15ml) sunflower seeds

Instructions:

  1. In a pot add the fresh raspberries with the honey and allow to simmer on a medium heat for around around 10 minutes.

  2. Add the oats and milk to another pot and simmer for 5-10 minutes, on a medium heat also.

  3. Oats should be of thickish consistency when ready and the raspberries should have a jam like consistency when ready.

  4. Add oats to a bowl then top with the raspberry compote and sunflower seeds.
