Steak, Chips and Mushrooms (HC)

Ingredients

  • 150g (5 1/3 oz) potato

  • 2 tsp olive oil

  • Sprinkle black pepper

  • 120g (4½ oz) 1 small sirloin steak (porterhouse steak), lean

  • 75g (1 cup)(3 oz) mushrooms (approx 10)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven at 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit/Gas Mark 6).

  2. Wash potato and slice into fries.

  3. Add to a bowl with a little olive oil and black pepper.

  4. Mix around and place on a baking tray with baking paper, pop into the oven for 20-30 minutes.

  5. Ensure to turn halfway through cooking, you want them to be nice and crispy when ready.

  6. Season steak with black pepper and a little bit of olive oil then fry to your liking, adding the mushrooms to the pan to soften towards the end of cooking.

  7. Then serve altogether when ready.
