Participants should follow NHS guidelines of 150 minutes of moderate activity per week (all of the classes fit into this) which can be broken down in any way that suits the person for example 5 x 30 minute classes – They could pick 5 from the dance, flexibility and mobility sections.
Strength should be bi-weekly on its own on top of the 150 minutes. That can include the Legs Bums and Tums class because resistance is used in those classes.
In dance style fitness, the progression is participants improve their dance technique, co-ordination, fitness level, strength, flexibility, and performance quality in a dance fitness class setting.
Rhythmic Radiance 1 is a good class to start with and then just pick from there. It will give a participant and introduction if they have never did a class like this before.
