Sticky Pork and Noodles (HC)
Ingredients
50g (¾ cup)(1¾ oz) wholemeal noodles
4 broccoli florets
1 tsp sesame oil / olive oil
120g (4 oz) pork mince (ground pork)
1 spring onion (scallion, green onion)
¼ red chilli pepper
1 tsp oyster sauce
1 tsp lemon juice
2-3 tbsp of plum sauce (1.5-2.25 Aus tbsp -30-45ml)
Instructions:
Cook noodles according to packet instructions and add the broccoli, 2 minutes before the noodles are ready.
In a pan add the oil and the mince
Cook for around 4 minutes, breaking up the lumps as you stir.
Add the spring onion (scallion, green onion), sliced chilli, oyster sauce, lemon juice and plum sauce.
Mix and continue to cook for around 5 minutes Taste test, add more seasoning or sauce if you feel it needs it.
When the noodles and broccoli are ready, drain and add to bowl.
Plate mince on top and serve.
