Open-Faced BLT Sandwich (MC)

Ingredients

  • 1 slice of brown wholemeal bread

  • 2 lean slices of bacon

  • 1 tsp full-fat mayonnaise (or salad cream)

  • A handful of mixed salad leaves

  • 1 tomato, sliced

  • Sprinkle of black pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Toast the bread to your liking.

  2. Cook the bacon under the grill until crisp.

  3. To serve, spread the mayonnaise (or salad cream) on the toast and top with the salad leaves, bacon and tomato. Sprinkle with black pepper and enjoy!
