In episode 4 of The We Are Wellbeing Podcast, I discuss various tips to help you improve your energy.

If you are someone that often feels exhausted throughout the day, looks for sugar for that afternoon pick me up and too tired to fill up your own cup, this episode is for you.

  • Don't Skip Meals or Have Long Gaps Between Meals - Balanced meals  leave you feeling energised. Long gaps between meals can lead to low blood sugar levels and decreased energy while eating at regular intervals helps stabilise blood sugar levels and maintain energy levels.

  • Prioritise Self-Care and Personal Time - Filling up your own cup is essential for maintaining energy levels. It's important to recharge and take time for yourself to avoid feeling depleted.

  • Be Mindful of Sugar Consumption - Consuming too much added sugar can lead to energy crashes. Discover which snacks provide sustained energy.

  • Protect Your Boundaries - Saying yes to everything can deplete your energy. Learning to say no and setting boundaries can help preserve your energy. People-pleasing behaviour can lead to exhaustion and a lack of personal time.
